“Discover The Number One Reason Most People Will Never Get Lasting Relief From Their Physical Aches and Pains and How YOU Can Be Different!”
Pain is one of the most pervasive medical problems in the United States.
According to the National Institute of Health, four out of five people will suffer from disabling back pain at some point in their lives, and that doesn’t even take into account all of the cases of plantar fasciitis, sciatic nerve pain, iliotibial band syndrome, shoulder joint pain, and neck pain, to name a few.
But with all of our fancy medical advances and surgical techniques, we’re not seeing a reduction in pain. In fact, the medical bill for back pain skyrocketed to a mind blowing $86 billion in 2008, a 65% increase in cost over a ten year period. So with all this additional spending, why aren’t we seeing results?
There’s just one little problem…in trying to fix all those back pain (and plantar fasciitis, sciatic nerve pain, shoulder pain, etc.) cases, researchers or looking only at where the pain is being experienced.
This is the Achilles heel of modern medicine – the desire to take apart the body and look at it in pieces and parts instead of as a whole system that functions synergistically.
The fact is, 99.9% of the time, the cause of your pain is not located where you are experiencing the symptoms of pain. And if you continue to chase symptoms, you’ll never get to the root cause of your discomfort.
Let’s look at this a different way…you wouldn’t drive your expensive BMW down the highway with four misaligned tires and a faulty transmission, would you?
Of course not. If your tires are out of whack, the car drags to one side, wears the tires unevenly and puts a lot of torque on your steering. In short, it’s going to wear the car down faster and use up way more fuel than it should, costing you a lot of money and grief.
Believe it or not, you’re probably going down the road of life with a body that’s out of alignment. Injury, illness and just plain bad habits cause muscular imbalances that put wear and tear on your body, especially if you’re active or athletic. And, much like a car, your body needs a few tune ups to make sure its tires are all facing the right direction, balanced and equal.
Physical imbalances cause wear and tear over time that are at the root cause of your aches and pains. Rarely does pain stem from a one-time incident such as “throwing your back out.”
Okay, So How Do I Get My Body Back Into Alignment And Get Rid Of The Pain?
Good question. Amazingly, it’s easier than you think to bring your body back into balance. Think of it this way…when you’re walking through the forest, you’re going to choose the path of least resistance to avoid having to chop your way through dense underbrush. You’ll probably take a trail worn down by deer or other animals.
The more you walk through your woods, the more defined that trail becomes until you can barely imagine stepping off into the wild underbrush beyond. You simply always take the trail because it’s the easiest path.
But the easiest path might not be the most efficient. Your trail may lead you several miles out of your way en route to your destination. It’ll get you there, but it you’re exerting a lot more effort than you need to in the process.
Your body is like the woods and your nervous system is a network of pathways that direct your movement. The more frequently you use certain firing patterns, the more ingrained they become until it’s almost impossible to use another pathway, even though it may be more efficient.
But, luckily for us, the body is malleable. You can retrain your nervous system, and, being utterly adaptable, your nervous system changes pretty fast.
Targeted structural bodywork, like Rolfing, frees up the potential for new movement by unwinding your old movement habits. Neurological re-patterning (stretches and exercises directed at reprogramming your body) create more efficient pathways for your nerves and muscles.
And, amazingly, this process is fast. You’ll start to see shifts after one session, which is why I’ve created an unprecedented offer for new clients so you can experience results for yourself…

Here’s What Clients Are Saying…
I visited Sukie with a laundry list of ailments, especially with my hips and posture. Never having been to a rolfer, I was a bit nervous and didn’t know exactly what to expect. Sukie put me right at ease and made me feel very comfortable. She focused primarily on my legs, hips and lower back, hitting my trouble spots instantly. Just by looking at my body, posture and movement she knew exactly where my issues were and the best way to “realign” me.
The biggest thrill for me came when she offered to work on my wrists and hands. I had been having severe pain in them for almost a year, and after many visits to the doctor and no solution, I figured I would just have to live with it. One session with Sukie and I could move my wrists and thumbs, something that was near impossible before I met her.

I have sought out a lot of treatment for my very abused athletic body. I was suffering from two slipped herniated disks in my low back and having done all sorts of holistic treatments there was still a lingering pain in my hip. All my doctors said there should not logically be any pain. When I went to see Sukie she quickly determined the how and why of my pain and helped heal it. I now go for monthly tune up’s to keep my body in check and I have not had any major pain attacks since our first meeting over two years ago!

“My foot pain was 90% gone that first day and just continued to get better and in 2 weeks I had completely no symptoms. All from one Rolfing treatment!”
I have absolutely no hesitations in recommending Sukie Baxter to anyone who would need Rolfing from someone as caring and capable as she. I had a year long, nasty bout with plantar fasciitis. We are teammates and were sharing a hotel room and she grew tired of watching me limp. So, she asked if she could help me and I gladly accepted.
I did have my doubts as I had had the plantar fasciitis for so long and it was so painful and I had already tried so many treatments looking for relief. One half hour later I felt pretty good. I got up and walked around and low and behold it felt quite good. My foot pain was 90% gone that first day and just continued to get better and in 2 weeks I had completely no symptoms. All from one Rolfing treatment!
Honestly, I can’t say enough about Sukie’s skills. She’s the best Rolfer!
– Lorraine Patten, DDS, Pleasant Valley, NY
Sukie does an amazing job at listening, analyzing and diagnosing issues with movement or pain. I’ve been working with Sukie for awhile, and am extremely pleased with the results of her Rolfing work on me.
The unique demands of my office job, of being a personal trainer and my own fitness training set up some unique challenges for my muscles . I constantly place demands on my body by emulating poor form to allow clients to see what they are doing.
Through Sukie’s work, I am able to keep training and actually increase flexibility and health. When an injury did strike, I worked with Sukie to first manage the pain and damage, and then recover my range of motion and strength.
Many healing arts deal with fleeting fixes for stiffness, soreness or lack of mobility. Sukie’s work varies between very long-term to permanent resolutions for restricted movement, pain or increased mobility.
I highly recommend Sukie to assess and alleviate your pains and aches.
