Sukie is excellent at restoring proper posture and balance within the body. After just two sessions, she was able to provide relief for my low back pain due to imbalance in my hips. She also worked with my head and neck, relieving months of headaches. Sukie works intuitively, gently, and always exactly where treatment is needed. I have no hesitations about recommending her to anyone!

When I first met Sukie I had been in an accident that resulted in whiplash, including serious muscle spasms. The knots in my neck were so frozen that I felt uncertain about my recovery. I was in pain, including headaches, and my neck was so rigid that I had a difficult time sleeping. I was taking 6-9 Ibuprofens a day, along with anti-inflammatory supplements.
I began Rolfing and chiropractic treatment within a few weeks of my accident. At first, my chiropractor did not adjust my neck until Sukie was able to help “release” some of my muscle spasms. After a series of Rolfing sessions I was able to receive my chiropractic care, with far less resistance, and I had cut my ibuprofen intake in half. Also I noticed pretty quickly after a session with Sukie, I felt like a different person with improved movement, muscle relaxation and headache relief. And I always slept better the night after a treatment.
It is now a few months later and I am consistently sleeping well again. I no longer struggle to avoid all physical activities for fear of re-injuring myself, and my overall results are impressive. One day I realized I was no longer taking anti-inflammatory medication or supplements on a daily basis. Even though I sought out Rolfing due to my accident, it will remain one of my staple health care choices in the future.
I highly recommend Rolfing, but specifically I can speak to the amazing treatment I receive from Sukie. She is not only a stellar therapist, but she is also a compassionate and present individual that cares deeply about the healing process. I feel fortunate to have met her at this difficult time in my life.

I visited Sukie with a laundry list of ailments, especially with my hips and posture. Never having been to a rolfer, I was a bit nervous and didn’t know exactly what to expect. Sukie put me right at ease and made me feel very comfortable. She focused primarily on my legs, hips and lower back, hitting my trouble spots instantly. Just by looking at my body, posture and movement she knew exactly where my issues were and the best way to “realign” me.
The biggest thrill for me came when she offered to work on my wrists and hands. I had been having severe pain in them for almost a year, and after many visits to the doctor and no solution, I figured I would just have to live with it. One session with Sukie and I could move my wrists and thumbs, something that was near impossible before I met her.

Sukie is a very knowledgeable bodyworker. Having gone to massage school myself and worked with a great many fantastic professionals, I would put Sukie right up there with the best. But what makes her work so great is the way she combines her spirit and sensitivity with that knowledge. THAT is what makes an *excellent* bodyworker. Her touch is so refined and sensitive that she is able to work quite deep without causing pain. I have a great deal of respect for her and happily refer my clients when I can.

Sukie Baxter has an excellent eye for detecting imbalances within the skeletal structure. She is also highly adept at correcting those imbalances, as well as educating the client on how to maintain their structural integrity.

I have sought out a lot of treatment for my very abused athletic body. I was suffering from two slipped herniated disks in my low back and having done all sorts of holistic treatments there was still a lingering pain in my hip. All my doctors said there should not logically be any pain. When I went to see Sukie she quickly determined the how and why of my pain and helped heal it. I now go for monthly tune up’s to keep my body in check and I have not had any major pain attacks since our first meeting over two years ago!

“My foot pain was 90% gone that first day and just continued to get better and in 2 weeks I had completely no symptoms. All from one Rolfing treatment!”
I have absolutely no hesitations in recommending Sukie Baxter to anyone who would need Rolfing from someone as caring and capable as she. I had a year long, nasty bout with plantar fasciitis. We are teammates and were sharing a hotel room and she grew tired of watching me limp. So, she asked if she could help me and I gladly accepted.
I did have my doubts as I had had the plantar fasciitis for so long and it was so painful and I had already tried so many treatments looking for relief. One half hour later I felt pretty good. I got up and walked around and low and behold it felt quite good. My foot pain was 90% gone that first day and just continued to get better and in 2 weeks I had completely no symptoms. All from one Rolfing treatment!
Honestly, I can’t say enough about Sukie’s skills. She’s the best Rolfer!

Sukie Baxter is a woman with an incredible heart and wisdom beyond her years. She has an amazing ability to focus entirely on the person she is with, listen carefully to him or her and respond in a way that encourages confidence and growth. I was not surprised to find my body responding quickly and positively to Sukie’s touch. What did surprise me, however, was my mental response. Not only did I become completely relaxed and calm during my Rolfing session, but I found myself much more present and accepting of myself. Being around Sukie makes me want to be a better person. I would recommend her to anyone I know.

“I made an appointment with Sukie last week because of severe knee pain that my chiropractor couldn’t figure out. I was scared about what might be wrong and a bit apprehensive about what modality Sukie might use to treat me. I was wonderfully surprised! Sukie is laser-focused on her Rolfing work and yet also able to talk and listen with warmth, kindness, and intelligence. The pain was minimal and I could feel a difference right away. Since my Rolfing session 3 days ago, my knees are doing much, much better and I’m definitely going to go back for more treatments. I’ve been recommending Sukie to some of my other friends who are in pain. I highly recommend Sukie Baxter!”

Thank you, you are certainly on the right track & have gotten me more relief for my shoulder pain in one visit than multiple other practitioners combined!

“I am an Idaho Native and was hit with a lot of upper body pain specifically in my neck, mid back and arm, hand and fingers for the past 3-4 months.”
I had been to nearly every doctor, chiropractor, massage therapist and acupuncturist in my area. They all gave me temporary relief at best. I love You Tube and was searching a few weeks ago when I ran across Sukie Baxter.
I emailed Sukie and she responded to me and sent me the video How I overcame my 2 year struggle with back pain in under 3 days! I had been using a juicer and at Sukie’s recommendation started adding the Ginger Root and Turmeric Root to my combination of carrot, apple and celery juice. I had taken Curcumin pills (made from Turmeric) in the past and knew that it has strong anti-inflammatory properties but I didn’t see much in the way of good results from the pill form. Within two days of adding the Ginger Root and Turmeric Root to my juice I started feeling pain relief and now three weeks later I am nearly totally pain free!
My aunt has Alzheimer’s and she has been drinking juice containing Turmeric now for just over two weeks and a marked improvement has been seen in her! My mom, sister and many friends are now drinking this power juice combination all thanks to Sukie Baxter! It is amazing how one great tip like this can spread like wild-fire and how many people it can help.
Thank you Sukie for sharing a great tip that has added so much good for so many. Keep up the great work!

I originally came to see Sukie because of a shoulder injury from weightlifting. She was able to help me recover from that ongoing pain and get back to doing all the athletic activities that I enjoy. Since then, I have continued to work with her. She is professional, listens to concerns, and produces positive results.

Sukie does an amazing job at listening, analyzing and diagnosing issues with movement or pain. I’ve been working with Sukie for awhile, and am extremely pleased with the results of her Rolfing work on me.
The unique demands of my office job, of being a personal trainer and my own fitness training set up some unique challenges for my muscles . I constantly place demands on my body by emulating poor form to allow clients to see what they are doing.
Through Sukie’s work, I am able to keep training and actually increase flexibility and health. When an injury did strike, I worked with Sukie to first manage the pain and damage, and then recover my range of motion and strength.
Many healing arts deal with fleeting fixes for stiffness, soreness or lack of mobility. Sukie’s work varies between very long-term to permanent resolutions for restricted movement, pain or increased mobility.
I highly recommend Sukie to assess and alleviate your pains and aches.

Sukie is fabulous! Her work goes much deeper than traditional massage but is still very gentle and relaxing… if you have not tried structural integration yet and you have any kind of physical pain, this is the place to go!

My back feels great today. I don’t know what I would do without you.
– Michael P., Seattle, WA
Thanks for everything over the last 3 months. You’ve been amazing. My body really does feel completely different from the first time I came in. I always looked forward to the appointments. I can’t believe how little body awareness I had when I first came to see you. One of my goals is to further my awareness, and to improve my ability to verbally express what my body is feeling.

“Sukie has helped me release pain and discomfort I’ve had so long I can’t remember NOT having it, and given me back a freedom of movement I didn’t think was possible!”
I cannot recommend Sukie and her Rolfing highly enough. I broke my back in a bad fall from a horse in 1992. Not being one to submit to disability or inactivity, I kept right on going after I healed, piling compensation after compensation on my structure. About 7 1/2 years ago I discovered Rolfing and began getting regular treatments. I’ve seen a variety of Rolfers since then, but Sukie has been my choice since she set up her practice in Seattle. She has a deep interest in her subject and seems to have an intuitive understanding of what is needed, without the “assembly-line” approach I’ve found with other practitioners. I am so happy with my results – she’s undone years of damage. She has helped me release pain and discomfort I’ve had so long I can’t remember NOT having it, and given me back a freedom of movement I didn’t think was possible.
Sukie works with her clients as well as on them. She teaches how to live comfortably in the body and gives the tools her clients need to retain the improvements, and always has interesting views and new information. I enjoy the sessions and feel so much better after each one, I wish I could go every week! If you’re looking for results, this is the place to go!

I came to Sukie with back and neck pain, and to explore how Rolfing could help my condition.
First of all, was blown away by Sukie’s knowledge in her field of expertise, and after attending other workshops on topics like breathing and nutrition, I realized that she is constantly learning and is committed to sharing her knowledge to help people achieve overall wellness.
Then, I couldn’t believe how effective and integrative her Rolfing sessions were on my body. My posture has improved, my foot pain is mostly gone, and I’m sure her work on my back and neck have helped me progress further along with my chiropractic therapy than just doing that alone.
Sukie is a great person to know as well as a highly professional and talented rolfer.
– Mayna Sgaramella, Stylist, Seattle, WA
“I was extremely stressed when I came in to see Sukie and when I walked out I was calm, I could breathe deeply and I felt relaxed and renewed.”
I am a personal trainer which means that I use my body a LOT and end up with tight muscle pain pretty much everywhere. I am so very impressed with Sukie Baxter and I look forward to my future Rolfing sessions with her which I know will result in greater range of motion and better over all health. I gratefully refer my clients to her knowing that they are in the best hands possible. Sukie is everything a Rolfer should be: knowledgeable, compassionate, insightful, dedicated and AMAZING!
– Jennifer Malocha, Bellevue, WA
Sukie delivers “Functional Balance” with her skilled knowledgable hands as well as her uncanny ability to get to the underlying issues. I came in for help with my legs after losing my balance on the ice last winter. Sukie’s gentle work on my feet, not only opened my arches, but as she created a strong grounded platform, I can function better as I walk and as I move in the world. Her treatments are effective, relaxing, and insightful. I highly recommend her and look forward to my next Rolfing session.
